The Phuket local government is hoping the nightclubs and school will help them to stop the swine flue before it spreads all over the Phuket Island.
They want all disco to close for at least 5 days to clean the nightclubs and schools.
We checked with some nightclubs in Phuket today at 22.00 and they were still open but very quiet.
The plan is to close in the same time as the Buddhist lent that will be next week.
