A shared coach, an airport bus, a private car and a hotel-to-hotel transfer are not necessarily the same service. Bell Travel Service has long been associated with travel between the capital, Suvarnabhumi Airport and Pattaya. If you are considering it today, start with the current booking screen rather than advice from a decade-old review.
This guide focuses on what you need to check: departure point, whether your hotel is covered, luggage, flight delays, and the difference between a booked seat and a private transfer.
Does Bell Travel still offer Pattaya transfers?
Yes, an online Bell Travel shared-transfer search is accessible, and Suvarnabhumi Airport lists an intercity Pattaya connection at its Level 1 transportation area. Note that Bell’s former main domain (belltravelservice.com) currently redirects to a different transfer brand’s website, so make sure you are booking through the channel you actually intend to use. These sources establish that the service can be researched and booked online; they do not guarantee a seat or particular departure on your travel date.
Open the live form and enter your actual date, departure and destination. Look at the available trip before deciding whether a flight arrival leaves sufficient time to clear immigration, collect bags and reach the counter.
Shared coach versus private transfer
A shared transfer means paying for a seat on a scheduled service. You may share the vehicle with other travelers and need to be ready at the specified check-in point. Depending on the booking product, a local hotel drop-off or collection arrangement may be included; confirm the exact hotel and any exclusions during checkout.
A private transfer is a separately priced booking for your party with agreed pickup and drop-off points. It can be more convenient if your flight arrives late, you carry unusual luggage or you are traveling with young children. It may also involve waiting charges or stricter cancellation terms. The words “private”, “shared”, “hotel pickup” and “airport counter” matter more than a general advertisement for a bus to Pattaya.
Where do you go at Suvarnabhumi Airport?
Suvarnabhumi’s official transportation guide lists intercity coach services to Pattaya in the Level 1 transport area near Gate 8. Follow the airport’s current signs and the exact instructions printed on your reservation. Counters and procedures can move, so a saved screenshot of the booking is more useful than an old photograph of a terminal entrance.
Do not confuse a direct airport–Pattaya service with a coach leaving from an off-airport public transport terminal. Both kinds of transport may exist, but boarding locations, journey steps and baggage handling differ.
Seven checks before paying for a ticket
- Trip origin: Verify whether the departure is Suvarnabhumi Airport, a Bangkok hotel or another terminal.
- Exact destination: Check whether you will arrive at a Pattaya bus terminal or the door of your hotel, and whether your street is in the service area.
- Flight buffer: Build in time for queues, baggage delays and walking through the terminal. No fixed buffer is suitable for every flight.
- Baggage rules: Review size, weight and extra-bag charges on the ticket terms, not on a travel forum.
- Cancellation policy: Check what happens if the plane is late or you cannot board the selected departure.
- Contact route: Save the operator’s booking reference and official contact instructions offline.
- Payment proof: Keep the confirmation email and payment receipt until your trip is completed.
What about Pattaya to Bangkok Airport?
For the return journey, reverse the steps. Check where the operator expects you to board in Pattaya, whether there is hotel collection and how long the scheduled trip allows. Traffic on the route may change significantly. Leave time for airline check-in, security and document checks rather than treating the published vehicle journey time as a guaranteed arrival time.
If your hotel is outside the normal collection zone, agree on a realistic place to meet. Ask the operator how it identifies passengers and vehicles. Do not assume a representative who approaches you unsolicited at the terminal is connected to your booking.
Other ways to reach Pattaya
Suvarnabhumi Airport also lists public and intercity transport options. An official taxi, a licensed ride-hailing option or a private car may be more suitable for a group or late-night arrival. Compare the total cost for everyone in your group, including any tolls, luggage fees, waiting charges and the local taxi ride you might need at the destination.
A cheap advertised fare may cease to be cheaper if a separate transfer is required. Conversely, a shared coach may be a sensible option for a solo traveler with ordinary luggage and a flight landing comfortably before a scheduled departure.

I have used their service over years and always found them to be friendly ( at the airport not always in the office pattaya) and reliable but have not been able to e mail them as their appears to be a problem with their e mail address, can someone let me know the New E mail address?
I have used them many times as well and they have been good and bad. When did they hold the buss for you to clear immigration? You mean they know you where coming with the flight and you booked already in the airport in Bangkok? You never know when you will leave the immigration so that’s really nice of them but must be very annoying to other passengers waiting from 10 min to an hour. I never took them back to Pattaya just the other way around.
I have used Bell Travel over a dozen times in the last 2 years to get to and from Pattaya, and I have NEVER had a problem with them.
I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and even willing to go a little extra to help out when required (like holding a departure for a few minutes while waiting for someone to clear Immigration).
When departing from Pattaya, one has to make sure they are looking at the CORRECT schedule, and not confuse the regular buses with the ones being used by Bell, which look very similar but often arrive from, and depart to different locations.
So, take it for what it’s worth, 1 bad experience noted by the above poster, or the dozen plus good experiences I’ve had with the same company.
Makes me wonder just where the problem truly is.
