Where did Thailand come up with this silly idea of an inactive post? Why do people get moved around to other places where they just end up doing more damage? Some Thai air marketing girl has swindled million of THB and she got moved to a inactive post, why was she not fired and prosecuted?
The most inactive people in the world must be the Thai police officers since they get moved to inactive post every week. The former Pattaya police boss got moved to an inactive post since he allegedly paid 10 million to get to Pattaya, do you see how much money the police make in bribes in Pattaya. How does a Police officer even get 10 million to pay these bribes in the first place?
I helped some friend’s move some stuff from Bangkok to Pattaya and on the way we got stopped by the police and the driver gave him 100 THB to pass. Last week the truckers blocked some roads because they are tired of Thai Police stopping them and asking for money.
In the news this week it been a lot of talk about Mr Thaksin and corruption and as you all know he was one of Thailand’s biggest police bosses. Apparently he still controls the police in some way but he does not control the military the other gang does. It really makes me sick to the stomach when you hear all of all this corruption in the Thai Police force.
All people that are found taking bribes are just moved to inactive post or move to another district where the money is lower. The tourist police boss of Pattaya is now in charge on trains in Thonburi and the former police boss of Pattaya is inactive in Chon buri.
Why not just fire them, prosecute them, and root out the bad Thai police officers once and for all? I am sure the semi good once would step forward and take the ranks. But now only bad coops get promoted by their even worse bosses.
