We are introducing ZupZip a mixed category where we will visit other blogs about Thailand and see what they are up to. ZupZip is a slang Thai that basically means gossip. Every Sunday we will mix different topics from Thai blogs.
Santa visit Thailand
Thailand has been closed down for a few days when they celebrated their new holiday called by Westerns Christmas and by Thai a prolonged Happy New Year. Pattaya for example now have fireworks every day now from the 23 until the 31 of December. On the Richard Barrow blog you can see people running around in Santa costumes.
We eagerly await Thailand to adopt the Nordic Midsummer as a public holiday.
Send a Christmas card to a Torpedo
Da Torpedo is according to some people and right activist a political prisoner and should be released right away. She has been convicted for talking bad about the monarch in Thailand a crime that could give you 15 years in prison. Take a look at other political prisoners in Thailand to make your own opinion.
Thaksin Trying to kill Sondhi
This Thai blog is convinced that Thaksin was behind the shooting at Sondhi that almost killed the yellow shirt leader. The Police however think it was someone closer to the military and the military thinks that someone close to the police did it. The Thai public thinks that nobody will ever be convicted and it is all a big mess. Read more on the TIT blog.
The lost boy
The Lost boy is advising people to use Twitter in Thailand to drive traffic to your site. He also host a top 100 blog where he rates us as number 87 and that is not very flattering. We will do our best to push us up at least to over 50, sorry Matt.
Bangkok Post lost
Bangkok Bugle, Thailand own media blog have reported that the Bangkok Post have lost a fifth of its readers. The Media savvy Bugle Blog does not say to where all the readers went.
Where are the tourists?
The Absolute Bangkok Blog reports that tourists have gone down on the Walking Streets in Pattaya but we went down to have a look and we can report the following.
The western tourists have been replaces by Indians and Arab male tourists walking hand in hand along beach road. While the hot girls in high heels and been replaced by boys in even higher heels.
Tiger Woods really hates ZupZip
We have heard from really unconfirmed sources that Tiger Woods (part Thai) really do not like ZupZip at all. We will try to do better Tiger, will you?
