David Carradine has been found dead in Bangkok.
I am very sorry to inform our dear readers that our hero the Kill Bill star David Carradine has taken his life in former Bangkok Hilton. Now the hotel is called Nai Lert Hotel on Wireless Road.
“Kung Fu” and “Kill Bill” star David Carradine was found hung himself in a closet in a hotel room and the maid found him.
Davis Carradine was in Bangkok to record his latest movie Stetch but he did not show up on June 3 after arrive in Bangkok June 2.
Carradine, 72, was in Bangkok to shoot his latest movie, Stretch, and stayed at a Suite Room 352 of the Park Nai Lert Hotel on Wireless Road since June 2.
It was a hotel’s maid who opened his suite on Thursday at 10 am only to find Carradine hanged in the closet. He was described as behind half naked.
His latest movie was Big stand but he was most famous for playing a half-Chinese Shaolin monk, Kwai Chang Caine in the 1970s easternwestern TV drama “Kung Fu.
In honor of Carradine’s passing, i’m currently looking for decent deal on his Kung Fu seasons on DVD if i can find them…
Well the body is home in USA and the police did not find anything, just like all the other 2000 cases when a foreigner jumps from the balcony or hang themselves in the sofa.
I am not so sure that “suicide” is to blame here. The way his body was found is very suspicious. The “rope” was not just around his neck but was also bound around his body. His agent also says that he was “full of life” and was always wanting to work. This does not sound like someone who was depressed. He very well could have been murdered! Let’s hope the authorities do their job and look strongly into this possibility!
