The Thai immigration Bureaus new 1111 number a Total Failure
I seen the number at the immigration office and I seen it again on the news the big launch for the new to call for information on visa to Thailand.
But the same problem accurse as when you go down the immigration office, they do not know anything. They put some students or such to answers for some life important questions. I had several of my friends call them and none of them could not get a straight answer or they could get more information checking the internet within 5 min. This was not complicated issues just normal standard questions but none of them could be answered.
They gave me 3 different persons to talk to and none of them could answer anything they gave me another number to the “real” immigration 02-2873101 – 10 but they just hang up or disconnected you as soon as the phone start ringing and know actually know they would. If you go to the immigration bureaus office you can see them hanging up the phone all the time or they just let it ring.
They should hire some good English educated staff and I am sure people will actually pay for the information if it just correct and fast and legal. The information you get from lawyers are not anything near that.
