Thai students won third rank at World Robocup Rescue 2007

Nine Thai students from the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce won the third rank in World Robocup Rescue 2007 at Atlanta City, United States of America. There were 30 student teams from many different countries such as Japan, Germany, USA(the host), Iran, Australia and others in this competition.

For the Nine Thai students who got third rank in this competition, their team’s name is CEO Mission 2 with another three support professors of engineer faculty of the university.

The students said the robot took them 3 – 4 months to finish it, They got involved in every part of this project since the Electronic part, Part-designing and Robot controlling Program.

After their achievement from this competition, they don’t stop their improvement by developing to conduct the robot with bomb x-ray machine and install high-pressure gun to destroy the bomb from far distance. They claimed after they finish these two projects, they will offer them to the air army in order to be a part to help solving the violence problem at three southern provinces in Thailand.
