The Prime Minister of Thailand Samak Sundaravej wants to kick out or move as he said the slum people of Bangkok. He wants to move them to housing estates outside Bangkok. Instead of slums he wants to build parks and that’s a good idea.
But with all good ideas in Thailand there are so many stops along the way to the idea being real. I am sure does not want to have the same problem as western countries have with slum areas in cheap hosing outside the big cities.
You also never know if the parks really are going to be built and who can visit the parks. Free parks for everyone with loads of threes is should be a blessing for Bangkok.
