I have a cockroach in my bathroom sink is it Karma?

I have a cockroach in my bathroom sink. Every morning when i wake up i see two antennas sticking up from the water hole in the sink. In my last house my sink hole on the side was much bigger so they actually came that way and i had to put a paper clip to split the hole in half to stop them from coming in to the bathroom and bring his buddies along. I do not want to kill him, i know i become soft kind of Buddhist since i moved here but it shows how Thailand affects you. I guess in my country i would have call the landlord and scream for a cleaning crew but here i just relax and flush some water on him hoping he will find his way out.
Some Thai people will call this karma that someone hurt me in past life or presents is stuck in my sink and have to drink my dirty water every day , what do you think?
