The Police in Pattaya are really trying to crack down on false driver license and tax for motorbikes. If you are driving a motorbike in Pattaya or have a girlfriend driving you the time has come to look over your papers.
Remember that you also need a helmet when you driving around and you can not hold your mobile phone in one hand and drive with the other. The police will also ask you for a copy of your passport and the latest visa. So to be totally hassle free and fee free you need to have that with you as well.
Since the many people have lost their bag or gold chain when driving with a motorbike remember to hide the gold chain and put the bag inside the bag if possible for a safer ride.

The Law says real passport but in the past the approved a copy but now when the change police boss some want original passport.

I think a copy of your passport is no good if you are driving a motorbike in PATTAYA they want the real thing….. i was fined and he said ohh …… copy copy
