Thailand is now doing what Singapore has been doing for a long time namely taking transfer passengers of a tour of the City of Bangkok.
Passengers can even play golf for 5000 THB with an English speaking guide and a air con car that take you right to the golf court and back to the airport again.
The other tours are the usual Bangkok tours with the Temple and Grand Palace.
This offer is valid to the end of 2011 but can be extended if it becomes a success.
To get more information about this package try the ATTA counter in the arrival hall but you have to pass all the screaming “taxi taxi†people.
No extra airport tax of 500 THB will be charge if you take the tour with ATTA and that would make it cheaper then doing the tour yourself.
