It looks like all Banks in Thailand now charge the extra 150 THB per withdrawal for foreign visa cards.
Before Kasikorn bank and UOB bank did not charge the extra fee but now it looks like they followed the rest of the banks.
Since the limit is 25 000 THB per time and you will be a few 100 THB poorer paying everything cash.
Look for hotels and shops that do not charge the extra 3 % fee for your credit card and get some points in the same time.
If you found a Bank that do not charge the 150 THB extra let us know
I think it’s a great thing for the Thai banks to do in the middle of the low season to take up the fees. It is almost as clever as the fees they take out when you want to transfer money to another city in Thailand or another bank.

That good info i will check that when i have to take out money. I thought UOB already did it. When i took out last time all the other banks except Bangkok Bank did not let me take out more then 10 000 THB. I will not take out 10 000 THB at the time and pay 150 THB for it.

Aeon and GSB (Government Savings Bank) ATMs do not charge the fee. UOB is a Malay bank and was not charging as of Thursday.

What about regular ATM debit cards? Do banks charge a fee for this? What is more common in Thailand the Plus or Cirrus option?

Wealth of information here, to the point of overload.
I use a USA Visa ATM. I should note that GSB only works on VISA ATMs.
