Now almost 600 confirmed swine flue cases in Thailand and it spread to 24 provinces. Still the government do very little to stop the swine flue to spread all over Thailand in a massive way. The government tried to tell the night clubs to close in Pattaya and Phuket but all Pattaya did was to scrub the streets. Some times you have to wonder if they think the tourist think they are safer with a cleaner street? Now swine flue do not come from the dirty places on the street but from a packed nightclub with maybe only one person sick.
The Thai government estimates that over 10 000 will have the swine flue before its all over but why stop at 10 000? If 10 000 have surely 100 000 will get it in the next compel of days. How do they think that the swine flue will just stop at the magic number 10 000?
The more people that have it the more and faster it will spread and if so many people in Bangkok have it then for sure we will all have it soon.
Have the government thought about the affect on the hospitals and government officials if all the staff is home sick?
