What is a Hub in Thailand?

In Thailand the government and officials are always trying to create Hubs and make Thailand in the center of that Hub. A few years ago they try to make Thailand to a Fashion Hub that lasted 2 years and then got scrapped. They also tried to make Thailand to a Book hub but most people in Thailand can not read and write English and some can not even read Thai, one book fair a year does not make a international book hub. They also try to make Bangkok a airport hub with the new airport but as well all know the new airport is a big fiasco so that would not happen, Singapore is more likely to take that position.
