Now you have the chance to visit Wat Pho, The Emerald Buddha, and the reclining Buddha at night. They have extended the opening hours to nine at night. The giant stupas are shining in the dark night and the fresh evening breze make you stay longer and admire them. Not many people know about it as well and most of the tourists go there in the morning.
Walking around in Wat Pho is like you never seen it and it you can really appreciate the empty spaces and the gold shining from the stupas in the light of the lamps.
Time to head over to the old city before everyone else does and do not mind the scam guides outside telling you the temple is closed it is not.
