Thailand Trains on strike but why?

The Thai Train that was slow before has been come down to a 50 % halt now when the rail road workers are on strike.

The strike is because the government wants to privatize the railway company and the person working there does not want that.

Now here are my thoughts about this

The fat bosses

The railroad boards of directores are a bunch of crocks and take bribes to rent out prime land way to cheap. For example the Central group has many of their department stores on railway land. There are many more cases like JJ market for example.
They don’t want the company to be private they would be fired.

The Train Workers

The workers don’t want the company to be private since they have a nice time and government salaries. But I think they would get it better with a private company even if a few of them had to go. Private company means more routs and more trains. Now there is 1 train to Pattaya a day and over 300 Busses leaving every 10 min or so.

The Trans Passengers

The train goers want the company to be private or at least semi private so that we can stop the busses and save nature with some quiet trains trough the landscape. It would be so nice to be able to take a train all over Thailand.

The squatters

The squatter along the railroads and railroad land does not want the company to be private for sure. They would not be able to squat anymore, steal free power and dump their garbage on the railroads tracks and where should they park their cars?
