Thailand cracking down on companies using piracy software

The anti piracy bureau in Thailand and the Thai police are currently conducting raids in Phuket in south Thailand. Apparently several property developers have been targeted and fined over 1 million THB for using unlicensed software.

On the way to the criminals the antipiracy bureau passed several markets selling DVD, bags and Windows 7 but because they don’t have big money they were ignored or maybe it was the tainted windows?
The raids have been going on for time now in Bangkok and are spreading in Chiang Mai and in the North east of Thailand.
If you are a business with an office or shop and you have a old fight with your staff or other people in the area, now is the time to either close your shop or buy real software. The new Windows 7 is actually not that expensive and it works wonders with your new computer, just make sure your favorite computer staff install the original version.

Most of the raids are conducted after somebody made a tip off so be nice to your Thai staff.
No words on when they will raid Pantip or Patpong night market and close it down.
