Revenue department fraud
Most of the time everything that sounds to good to be true is not true. The Thai police have arrested some Taiwan men and one Thai man for fraud.
The group posed as revenue department officials and tricked their victims to use the ATM to get their money.
The victims called a number in Taiwan and an answer machine in Thai asked them to pick English menu and then they would get money back. But most of the time they just transfer money to another account in Thailand. Since most victims could not read English the scam could go on for sometimes.
The group was arrested in Central World trade when they tried to take out money.
