US are warning Thailand about its problem with piracy for movies and software. Thailand as always takes drastic steps as usual by banning mobile phones in cinemas. When have you seen any movie being filmed by mobile phone being sold in Pan Tip or MBK?
The Thai government can off course not close down the big pirates that sells 1000 of DVD every day to tourist and Thai in markets and shopping malls because they would loose to much bribes. They go after something that would never threaten that and that’s why they want to ban mobile phones in cinemas.
Next step for the government will be to ban off using mobile phone or video cam when you looking at TV or DVD in your home jing jing!
