The free magazine the Bangkok Trader made Soi Arab sound like something a gift sent from heaven or something. The area around Nana and Soi Arab have been going downhill for many years and the recent post Bangkok Post about the dirt in the area is more to the truth then the article in Bangkok Trader.
The Bangkok Trader describe the pipe smoking as something totally safe (just because you cannot smell the smoke does not mean it’s not there.) The Bangkok Trader moved on by talking about the Soi that never sleeps but forget to tell everybody of the light night pimps, drug dealers and hookers from all over the world that come out to play as well. I can agree that the food around Soi Arab is fun to eat sometimes but all the rats and street toilets make me not go there too often.
The area around Soi Arab and Nana need a big wash over and big crack down that they had should be conducted every month to clean up the trash in heart of Bangkok.
