Silent coup in Thailand

Silent coup in Thailand

It got a bit hot this morning when the Army chief Anupong apparently did a silent coup. He wanted the PM to resign after the clashes with the PAD. Later I the afternoon the spokes person for Army chief Anupong went out and said that no such advice or order has been given.

So right the standing are a bit confusing and we do not know if the coup was real or it was just a warning to the PM to step down.

I think just everybody is waiting for a coup and it is just a matter of time before it happens. Thailand can not keep on dragging it feet like this and nothing get done.

I am not a big fan of military coups but I am not for a puppet government that is controlled by telephone from London or where ever Thaksin plays golf.
