Finally the Thai police will try to turn over the case to the prosecutor and recommend that six people will be charged for the fire at the Santika night club last new year.
The fire claimed 66 lives both foreigners and Thai nationals and the cuase of the fire is the fireworks that was set off on the stage.
These people will be prosecuted
Santika’s major shareholder Wisuk Setsawat; Suriya Ritrabue, managing director of White and Brothers Co which managed the pub; Santika’s licence holder; manager; Saravuth Ariya, singer of the band Burn; and stage effects maker Bunchoo Laosrinart.
The lawyer for Santika has offered 30 000 THB to all injured and dead in the fire but the Consumer board in Thailand that helps the victims have turned that down. Different lawyers have sued what’s left of the company for 100 million THB.
