Two men got 20 years in Prison for raping a prostitute. But thats not the most disturbing thing the police in the police station refused to take the womens complaint. She had to sit there with all the police looking at her until they change shift and the new policeman took her report. The girl was working outside Silom park when the they approach her and they agreed to pay her 50 THB for sex. Thats about 1 Euro but that was to much for one of the guys who start punching the women breaking her nose and lips. They took her to an apartment and raped her and then call tree other men to also rape her before they let her go.
The news does not say anything what happened to the police men that did not take her complaint but normally they get a transfer to another district or province if they did anything wrong. But in this case I guess they will just say that she was a prostitute and they did not believe her. In Thailand the police can refuse cases and you have to wait to another police come or change district.
