Nonthaburi is one of the household provinces of Thailand. Nonthaburi is located at once north of Bangkok on the Chao Phraya river. The province is subdivided into 6 districts which are Mueang Nonthaburi, Bang kruai, Bang Yai, Sai Noi, Pak Kret and Bang Bua Thong. The districts are further subdivided into 52 communes and 309 villages.
Nonthaburi is besides one of the oldest cities in Thailand with because 400 years old, dating lead to when Ayutthaya was the capital. The provincial slogan translates to Grand Royal Mansion, acclaimed Suan Somdet, Ko Kret’s pottery, major hoary temples, tasty durians, and the beautiful government office.
Provincial flower and tree is the Yellow Flame Tree.
