New extension of Visa trough webcam?

The Thai Immigration police have launched a new service that make it possible to get an extension for your Thai visa through web cam in Thailand. However it does not say what visa or how you going to transfer the money to the Thai Immigration police. The service should be good for people staying on the Islands like Krabi or Samui or in Northeast Thailand where no immigration office is present. Hopefully you will be able to extend the stay as well for people that have a year visa but have to go show themself every 90 days.
