I want to give out a thanks to the Swedish Embassy in Bangkok for rescue my friend from the corrupted police offices in Bagnlomung Police station Pattaya.
Some one had been on the Thai Police for days to make request for (what an arse hole) an arrest of my friend for working with no permit. He has a permit and they arrested him for “checking email related to business in Pattaya†Don’t they have a Go Go bar to close or a Katoi that robs tourist to arrest?
First they wanted 2000 THB to let him go got for the day plus 50 000 THB for bail, then we he got the money they wanted 5000 THB instead for letting him go for 1 night. Then after the big boss gone home for the day they did not let him go at all since he did not pay.
My friend did a last attempt to call the Swedish Embassy emergency number and this girl was a real pit-bull. Not only did she manage to get him out for bail she also managed to lower the bail to 20 000 with one phone call.
She also told the police to stop arresting foreigners for pity crimes just to make money or she would file a complaint with the ministry, way to go girl!
The Pattaya Police said
Why can we never keep Swedish people in the arrest Pattaya every time we arrest a Swede the Embassy come and take them out?

In this case the Swedish man was not the bad man the Thai Police was the bad man
