Mukdahan [Swan’s fancy pearl) is located in the northeastern (Isan) void of the country, on the banks of the river Mekong. The Second Thai–Lao Friendship Bridge across the Mekong to Savannakhet, Laos is laid there. Savannakhet territory in Lao is situated incomparable from it. It is a primary gateway to tourism in Laos and Vietnam.
The ancestors of the Mukdahan rabble migrated from Laos to make active the field in the late Ayutthaya period. The principality is famous for its piquant tamarind event and essence plentiful routine attractions. It has always been an interesting mixture of cultures from various tribes since ancient times. These eight tribes are Phu T’ai, Yu, Kha, Soe, Kar Lerng, Saek, Kula, and Thai-Lao.

Festivals and places to go:

Boat Racing is an age-old tradition of the province. It is responsible on the Mekong River at the conclude of the Buddhist Lent every year in November.
