Apparently you can not have short pants and take a driving license in Thailand. Well men can have short pants but women can not even if they not are “hot pants†but just normal once.
My friend went to take the driving test at Pattaya and believe me she is no bar girl and she does not look like one either. At 06.00 they are suppose to be there and sign papers and give documents and after she waited to 09.20 they told her that she could not take the test with short pants. They also told her that the next class will start at 09.50 and if she not has any longer pants she had to come back next Tuesday.
Luckily for her she had a friend that could come and give her the pants that she needed for the driving license.
So if you are a girl and want to take a driving license in Thailand please long pants to the list of thing you need to bring.
