Is the lord of war really in Bangkok? According to his wife he is not and she blames America for making up a fiction story.
The Bangkok post has a very interesting article about Victor Bout the “Lord of war†that American want to call him. He and his wife say he is innocent and he has not committed any crimes in Thailand.
It is really surprising that Thailand that have a democratic elected government can keep a foreign national for this long for no reason other then American say so.
I do not really know if the “the lord of war†person is real or not or even if Victor is this person. It does not really matter; American should not be able to arrest people in Thailand like this. Further Victor’s human rights are being violated since he has to sit with other criminals in Bangkok prison. He has done nothing wrong in Thailand and should be given a better treatment.
If he or anybody is proven guilty in the court of law then off course he is a criminal and should be put with the rest of them.
On the 11 of August 2009 the Thai courts will make it’s finally verdict either to send Victor to the USA or let him go.

Those who do not know are the bread and butter of the regimes that aim to dominate the world; regimes like the United States and previously the Soviet Union. There is no court that have convicted him yet. US of A sent undercover agents here to trick him in to sell weapons to Farc. Thaksin is at least convicted by a Thai court and is wanted. If a pedophile is caught and convicted in Cambodia he should off course be sent back to Cambodia if he fled to Thailand. But you missing the point totally.
The so called “lord of war” is not convicted of anything, he can not post bail and he has no rights as telephone or other things. He has a to pay his own lawyer in a country where he never committed any crime. Thailand should either black list him and send him back to mother Russia or send him to USA but not wait this long to do it. Will Thailand pay for his loss of income during this time? What has Thailand got to do with this anyway?

But you said nothing why Thailand is asking foreign police to extradite Thaksin, while other Gov should not ask Thailand , if a person has done nothing wrong here? I agree – it’s amazing how long Thai courts draggin this on. as I recall initially it was said that by law they could kep him detained like 180 days? now it has been almost trice that.
