The secret is out in Pattaya or at least some parts of it. The discovery of “hundreds†human Skeletons outside Satthaip near Pattaya in Chonburi province have been a secret for two months now. But now the Thai media is finally getting hold of the news but the details are still some what sketchy. Bangkok Post wrote only a few lines and The Nation has yet to mention it but the Thai TV3 ran a few minutes of it.
Some local forums have started to show divers with skulls and photos from the sea bed with skeletons. The human skeleton should be come from shipping containers dumped in the sea. Local fisherman has known about this for a long time and they said it was always plenty of fish around this area (fish eat dead humans). They did not want to ring the bell since they are scared the local mafia did it.
So who could have dumped containers on the sea bed outside Pattaya? Well the guessing games on the local forums are that it is the missing bodies from the 1992 clashes, some think it is the missing people from Thaksins drug war and some just guessing human trafficking went wrong.
We are still waiting for the Thai government to come out to say something.
