According to Pattaya News Agency a Swedish man was stopped by “fake†police officers wearing no uniforms and no Police ID. The “stupid†Swede stopped and they pushed him away and took his bike.
I don’t really know how you can get two guys act like Police officers in Thailand with no uniform? I would never ever stop for anybody with no uniform I don’t either stop if there are only two of them in the night time since all they want is money.
A real checkpoint have several officers and they all have badges and uniforms and you can be sure the bike or police car is visible nearby.
