Do Thai girls really like older men?
You all heard the story about the Thai girls that like older men. But is there any truth in it? Well Thai girls like people that can take care them and be a good husband for them. That not necessarily means the love the person but the man will never know this its part of the deal.
They are looking for people that do not flirt around and stay home with them and has money to take of them. They do not want young men because they flirt around and change girls all the time.
Most of the Thai women that want older men have been in the game for a while and maybe had their heart broken by a young lover and now she want to settle down with someone more stable. Also age different does not mean that much in Thailand as is mean in other western countries its very normal even with Thai to Thai marriages
Only last day I met a girl that have flirting with me inside the nightclub and she took up a conversation with me outside. She offer me a ride home and keep asking me about my age making sure I was not younger then her she only wanted older men. That was the first thing she told me and she is not the only one that asked me like that.
But have no illusion that you can come here old, ugly and dirty poor and think you will be attractive for the Thai girls. There is plenty of Thai men that fit that description as well.

That’s a very unfair and wrong statement and reflects only your own experiences and feelings on the matter and not the reality of the situation. A man falling in love with a homeless woman or vice versa would be very rare anyway so you can’t use that to back up your claim. Life is basically what you make it and if you choose to live with that attitude then that’s exactly what you will get in your own life.
I was on the subway in Bangkok Thailand yesterday and i saw a guy who must have been about 60 staring at a girl who must have been about 20 or so. The look on his face was of lust and it made me think back to this debate. I have 3 questions and they are: Why do these kinds of guys,(not everyone, just some) at their age still lust after young girls and why haven’t they learned how to control their cravings and instinct by the age that they are at? Does it mean that their lives have been unfulfilling and they have nothing else to make them happy or satisfied?
I’m interested in this particular subject.

All women are insincere. All women fall in “need” not”love”. Nothing should get in the way of love, not money, not age, etc.
Will a woman ever fall in love with a homeless man?? NEVER. He may have the best heart, but in the end women want material things. Since women work now, if she loved him, she could live with the homeless man. But it will never happen. But a man would marry a homeless girl.
But if a man wouldn’t go out with a woman with a barren (homeless) womb, he would be called explicit names.

Sickened, That is a very sad and all too common occurrence these days unfortunately. I think we can all agree that money is the only attractive thing about most of these older guys. I’m not against or anything like that but i just think it’s highly irresponsible for guys to abandon families, kids, wives so that they can have younger flesh and someone to cook and clean for them. They would take any old dirty man that walked in the door.. I have a cousin who was getting on if you know what I mean. He was pushing 40 and never had any luck finding dates. It wasn’t until he visited Asia that his luck turned.
He was never a bad looking guy or even boring to be around. In fact I would of set him up with some of my good friends but he didnt want to have a girl date him because of family setups. Celeste, most thai girls get with thai boys because there is nothing else around and this is not by choice. Its the norm. They dont consider a thai boy a step up from a 40s plus westerner, its just that you see the tailend of the situation.
However being a 30something Canadian who lived in BKK I can tell you for a fact that thai girls swarm me and I am considered better looking than the most flawless thai teen boy. Why? Because westerners have an exotic allure than only lessens after 50, and only if they are overweight and ugly. Otherwise try to convince a thai girl that a 40-50something Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, or Johnny Depp looking westerner is a step down in looks from a plain shmoe thaiboy who looks like the millions others around him.

I have been involved with Thai people in Australia for a long time, married to one for ages but now separated, his affairs have been numerous but the one at this time the thai girl is 23 my husband is 64. These girls have no morals just looking for money, money, money plus a permanent resident visa which is now difficult to get so they can escape restrictive parents in Thailand and a dog eat dog existence. I can safely say to any man wanting a Thai girl 99% of them are insincere, and what you see up front is not what they are thinking inside, after one or two kids and their permanent residence it will be bye bye or they will be bonking a young Thai boyfriend.

I actually see where you are all coming from now and i understand a bit more about the whole matter, although i think because of my upbrininging i tend to view things in an old fashioned way, hence my comments earlier.
I do however, think it’s wrong for men to fly all the way to Thailand just for sex, i mean buying sex. I say this because i have known men who did that and they were quite open about the huge amount of girls they’d had. I don’t totally condemn prostitution but i do condemn that frame of mind towards Thailand as it has so much to offer other than the sex trade.

It is not the western that brought this here. The thai girl has been “sold” to much older men for a long time. There was a 72 year old Senator last year who did a 16 year pregnant he managed to get away with that his driver had done it.
Many bargirls have much older husbands that they are married to and never tell you about in the small village in nakon anywhere.

Well Im 31 and im currently dating my cousins best friend who is 16, where I am its legal at that age. And that given the fact I live in the west. Most western countries allow 16 up.
However being able to get a 16yo who hasnt already bought into this whole “weirded out” culture is difficult. Which is why it was a good thing I knew my girl since she was growing up. She had a crush on me since she was in high school and often ask for help with her homework. Anyways I disagree that the young girls should be out of reach for older. What should be more important is if the man (regardless of age) will treat her right. It sure beats letting her date a guy her age that will treat her like dirt. Richard I respect your views, but you are talking about the fact that the recent reversal in gender roles (for over 30yrs) is quite ok for all men. Does this mean that all men should be damned if they dont like their white women being so manly and domineering? In italy, brasil in fact all of latin america, women are very happy in their roles of caretakers and understanding wives. I only see evidence to the contrary in the few english speaking western nations that support this aggressive style feminism. And guess what? Women are paying for it in droves, ever wonder why there is an increasing number of single 30, 40s women?

Regardless of whether Thai girls like older men or not, it’s wrong for men of 40 above to want to have sexual relations with girls in their early teens or twenties. I’m 27 and if i end up wanting sex with a girl of that age when i’m older then i’ll shoot myself. Foreigners always complain about how thai people cheat them and treat them unfairly. Is it any wonder, when these older guys travel across the world just to be near a supply of willing young bodies? I feel sorry for thai people, they are currently under invasion from us, their culture won’t last long at this rate. Men have caused women to rebel in western cultures with their undignified and desperate behaviour so they can’t do it back home, unless they are blessed with good looks or charm, so they go somewhere , where it is still possible to treat women like sex objects but obviously the same will eventually happen there and when it does where will they go next? I am sorry but it is not the Western Culture that brings this problem. Despite that you only see the Western men walk with the Thai young girls this problem have been here long before. Thai men have always took younger wife and the more money they had the more young the girl in many cases. Many of the bar girls you see are married to some man up country and have a baby with the older man. It just that that Thai people do not go out and show of the girl they hide her apartments if she is that much younger.
