Christmas at home or in Thailand?

I remember the Christmas I had when I was a child. It’s very far from Thailand’s hot Christmas even if Thailand is adapting very quickly to the Christmas commerce. I never seen so many lights in one place I seen in Thailand it’s amazing what they do from starting from December. The king’s birthday is on the 6 of December as well, so more lights are places because of this. Even if it’s no snow and it’s very hot it’s the Christmas feeling can be felt all over it. It as almost you can see Christmas Elves running around.

When I was a child we start by buying a Christmas three from the market and dragged it home then we went up the addict and got down all the Christmas Decorations from last year. We had one corner for Jesus and the church and one side for all the Christmas Elves and Santa. We had a really nice old Santa doll from my mother home it must be at least 80 years old now.
All the Santa’s and Christmas Elves sat under and around the Christmas three.

After Lucia the 13 of December we start putting presents under the three and every night we made Christmas bread and cookies and looked at Christmas movies on TV.
This would go on everyday until Christmas night that is the 24 of December when in my country everyone eats Christmas ham and look at Donald Duck on TV at precisely 15.00.
After that it was time to open the presents and in the night if we where lucky the snow felt and all very quite and you could just hear the Christmas Elves footsteps in the snow.
