A jealous man from Germany cut a Thai girl’s throat
An old German man, ruthlessly jealous of his Thai girlfriend, cut her throat to death and killed himself by slicing the wrist. He, afraid of being dumped by his girlfriend, left letters before breathing his last to his friends and family in Germany.
This tragedy was disclosed, at 8 p.m, by a police major Poomipat Namputra, a police inspector at Pattaya police station, Banglamung, Chonburi. It was informed that a foreign male and Thai female bodies were found in a room number 308, 3rd floor, named “Bongkoch Place†in Pattaya.
Inside the tragedy spot, at the foot of the bed was a foreign body named Mr.Hans Dearter, German, aged 65, turned his face down, wearing only blue underwear. His body was dark black and having discharging pus flooded on the floor. His both wrists were wounded deep long by a sharp cut. Beside his body was an upside down desk fan. Apart from his body, there was a Thai female body, unknown, aged about 35, was frightfully wounded by a sharp cut at her throat, body wrapped with 2 blue shirts and pillow cover.
The officer reckoned that both were dead for about a week. From an inspection, there found important evidenceâ€â€a 20-centimetre long fruit-peeling knife with blood, which might have been a killing weapon. Inside the room appeared a fighting hint with things scattered around. Two last letters, written in English with blue chemical pen, were also left on the desk at the head of the bed. The first letter’s content was to his closed friend saying his last words and asking his friend to send another letter to his family in Germany. Some contents highlighted at his sorrow of being left away by his loved girlfriend, which was the cause of killing his beloved and committing suicide. The officer recorded and collected all the evidence.
The decease’s friend, Mr.Cart Dartlev Bua, German, aged 45 gave his testimony that he visited his friend at the apartment after not seeing him for almost a week. But what he found was just a stink smell like a rotten dead and the door was locked. He thought of a bad incident and thus told the apartment caretaker and the police. He continued his words that Mr.Hans told him about dating with a Thai woman whom he fell in deep love and living with her for 3 months. They, afterwards, often had arguments on her having an affair with another guy and keeping her distance away. And this made the decease stressed and drunk.
At the beginning the officer revealed that Mr.Hans was raged to cut his love to death and covered her body on the bed with cloth. Then he wrote letters and committing suicide to escape his fault.
