Do we really care to call this news anymore? That another foreigner have taken a stupid pill and smuggled or sold drugs in Thailand.
What makes them hate the life in the western life so much that they have they need more “quick” money?
Some are not even doing it for themselves they are doing it for a few dollar.
Sure you can write a book about it when you come out and speak in public seminars and stuff, but it is really worth it?
Maybe everybody that even have the tiniest idea to smuggle or sell drugs in Thailand should go visit the prison sometime? They can ask questions like
I heard that the food is excellent here, how many rats did you eat today?
I heard that you get your own piece of concrete to sleep on?
Do you think you get out before 2050?
Oh so pee on the contact lenses is the way to clean them in here?
So you have no sexual contact besides with men for 50 years?
How does the rest of your family feel about you now?
I am all for a proper trial and a free lawyer for everyone and no more spiced up police rapports but if you get caught with drugs on your body then you are guilty even in my eyes. You know the punishment you know the law it’s your life and since you ruined your karma as well you second life won’t be better.
The latest moron to get a life sentence is Andrew Hood from Australia.
Good Article!! So true! Some foreigners are so stupid and arrogant and believe they get away with anything here. I did see people smoking marihuana in public bars. If they are found guilty by the court, they 120% deserve their sentences!
